Katie then went on to Western Michigan University to study musical theatre, where she has been in numerous productions including; The Witches of Eastwick, Lucky Stiff, Shakespeare in Love, Tony n' Tina's Wedding, and Urinetown.

Since starting college, Katie has also been involved in Junie B. Jones at Timberlake Playhouse, and The Producers at Farmers Alley Theatre.
